Traceability & EUDR
Cocoa entering the EU must carry geolocation for every producing plot - polygons for plots above four hectares - proof the land was not deforested after 31 December 2020, and evidence of legal production, all filed as a due-diligence statement in the EU's TRACES system before shipment.
No plot mapping yet - sales remain regional.
Mapping underway, polygon coverage growing.
Full coverage and a tested due-diligence pack.
Member profiles
Each trading member publishes its mapping coverage and lot-code system here - so an EU buyer's first question is already answered.

Shared mapping programme
A trained enumerator maps 8-12 plots a day. Pooled across the cluster, full polygon coverage stops being a heavy lift - the EUDR checklist in the document library shows exactly what the pack needs.
