Certification pays when a real buyer wants that specific label - start from the buyer, then choose the audit.
Every label below audits something different, costs something different and pays in a different way. The honest sequence is always the same: find the buyer first, confirm which label they actually pay for, then budget the audit, the internal management system and the member training it takes to keep it. Group certification through the cluster spreads that cost across many farms - which is where a cluster earns its keep.
